Mr. Oldfield challenged us to find out when to start downloading to win the contest. I added up the first 4 numbers and divided the numbers by 4. The average 34,200.
I subtracted 25,000,000,000 with 24,658,610,221 at 6:30 pm Friday Feb. 24 and got 341,389,779. At that point I divided 341389779 by 34,000 and 9,982 minutes then I divided 9,982 by 60 and about 166 hours then divided 166 by 24 and roughly got 7 days so I’m would start on March 2 at 5:00 about an half hour to and hour before the contest ends.
Isaac….I like how you explained this in detail. Do you think averaging only 4 hours gives you a good estimate per hour? Maybe looking a little deeper into the data would give you more accurate information. Otherwise good explanation! MRS.OLDFIELD 🙂
